About The A-Z of Norwich bands

The A-Z of Norwich bands was originally set up as a demonstration of the World Wide Web in 1994 by Pete Roberts at The School of Information Systems at UEA in Norwich (in his spare time). It was part of The Fine City Ents Guide - a fledgling what's on web site for Norwich that provided a useful example of the technology and also engaged with the local community.

Back then the web was new, web servers were few and far between and you needed to be a webmaster to post information. When the site was restructured some years later, rather than bin it, Pete moved it to his own hosting where it has remained.

Pete no longer lives in Norwich, but you can still email corrections / contributions / praise / complaints etc.
