The Honey Buzzards

The Honeybuzzards were tipped for the top at the start of the Nineties.

Sharing management with the Bardots, they were signed to Sheer Joy records, Manchester, base for the Paris Angels. They released 2 singles, 'Sympathy (for two girls)' and 'Star Happy', and appeared on limited addition compilation of Sheer Joy bands that included various remixes including one by 'The Orb'. They received a fair amount of BBC airplay for a new band, being played by John Peel, and recording sessions for Radio 5 and the Evening Session on Radio 1. Unfortunately just as things were beginning, they stopped as the band was dragged down by the collapse of Sheer Joy records.
